gnome debs anyone?

Has anybody hacked together some unofficial debs for gnome .99.2 by any
chance?  I'm drooling in anticipation, and also to try it as linked
against my new themed gtk....  ooh.  (marble3d theme, oh yes!)

I certainly understand why it takes so long to debianize gnome though,
I tried it myself!  Those libs are pretty complicated, especially with
nested directories of libs to compile.
