Apache orphaned?
Is Apache being looked after? It's a pretty-damned-important
package and has quite a lot of open bug reports. I reported
one (with patch) a few days ago in which the init script is
interpreting comment lines in the config file as real commands,
and have got no response. (IMHO it should be on the
release-critical list.)
Surely there are lots of people who are passionately interested
in a sound Apache package and would be willing to pick up
responsibility if the current official maintainer is too busy.
