One of the nice things about mutt, as opposed to at least pine, is
that it doesn't seem to store the whole message in memory, only the
header.  Means I can leave mutt open and it only takes up a few megs.

This is a big one in X with lots of files open on lots of computers
(I'll consider vim when it has ange-ftp).  I've had it open for the
last week or so...
