Sounds neato... they got a web page anywhere?  I'd love to show it to my
boss if it's any good.

[For the uninitiated, GIS = geographic information systems; basically you
graft a relational database engine together with spatial data (i.e. maps)
and can do all sorts of neato optimizations and visualization.  I'd always
wondered if there was a free GIS system out there... at FedEx we have to use
all sorts of ultraexpensive software.]


Chris, who does GIS stuff at work (yet he's a political scientist... go
figure).
