That's the second time I've been misunderstood, so I'll explain..
The initial post was suggesting (I'm sorry, I don't have the exact words)
that somehow a linuxconf front-end was the correct solution to the fact
that Linux email is hard to manage because sendmail.cf is hard to
configure. I was suggesting that the correct answer to *that* problem was
to change MTAs.
To summarise *my* opinion:
1) I don't think we should stop supporting sendmail.
2) I don't think we should discourage a linux-conf front-end to sendmail.
3) I do, however, both personally and professionally recommend exim over
sendmail for work involving many email addresses at many domains.
4) I do recognise that not everyone will agree ;-)
