I'm waiting the chance to get a scan of a suitable ID to apply for "maintainership" -- and have been doing work towards making the package whilst I wait. I've attempted to contact the upstream maintainer through email -- but haven't gotten a reply yet, which is beginning to make me wonder -- what do I do regarding copyright/what-not, if I am unable to contact him?
