request for a moratorium on discussion

Friends, we are now in the holiday season in many countries around the world. 
Classes are also ending.  Many developers are busy, out of town, or otherwise
occupied.  Could we please postpone these fairly important discussions until
the majority of the group can be involved more fully?  I know that Nils and
Manoj are both gone, a few others have posted as well.

Of course, there is still the business of business too.  We still have a
distribution to get stable.
