   Which isn't that much trouble (IMHO). I see your point, but also its
   consequences...

   I thought slink should be released in December and not the same should
   happen to it as to hamm...

Can we install cross-compilation system say i386->m86k on 
really fast machine? Then recompilation of 661 packages will
take about the same time for any arch.
