It is discussed on debian-cd@lists.debian.org.  There should - howver -
be no need for any dpkg maintainer to discuss anything.  If dpkg needs
modification the goal is missed.  This is an issue of highlevel tools
like apt, multicd (dselect) etc.

ASAP.  really ASAP.  We need to be able to provide official cd images.
We need to be able to give distributors assistence or they *WILL* screw
up the distribution.  We probably don't want that to happen.
