dselect / apt not working any more, libstdc++ trouble *argh*

Hi folks.

I have a system from the latest slink where I cannot run dselect/
apt any more so installing anything gets tough.

It stumbles about __register_frame_info.
Any pointers on how to fix this is greatly appreciated.
What needs to be updated?
