xload fontset problem with slink

xload works with slink, but there is a warning message:

Warning: Unable to load any usable fontset

I guess this means one of the packages which was split off from xbase
is missing.  Any ideas which one?  And should I report this as a bug
with the dependencies in xcontrib.list?
