egcs hasn't disappeared. Even though we are now in code freeze, there are
some chances happening that involve large amounts of network traffic for
mirror sites (e.g. improved X and teTeX packages). When you can't find a
particular package on your usual mirror, look for it on another mirror; if
you can't find it there, look on ftp.debian.org .
