IDG would like to publish a debian book

I know several people have worked on or expressed interest in working on
debian books in the past. IDG is a pretty large publisher, they publish a
lot of computer books including the ".. For Dummies" series of books. This
seems like it could be a good opportunity for someone to get some backing to
write a debian book. If you know someone who was working on a book who's not
a developer, please forward this to them.

(Disclaimer: I'm involved with IDG in my day job.)

Joey,

By the way, IDG is looking for someone to write a book about the Debian
distribution. If you know of anyone who would be interested, or would
like to forward my request to any lists (not sure if it's inappropriate
for the private list), please do.
