laptop - anacron
[I've already deleted the original mail, so I cannot answer directly.]
The problem was that even anacron is not really suitable for a laptop that
is never switch off but only suspended. Did anyone thing about adding
appropriate file to /etc/apm/suspend.d/ resp. /etc/apm/resume.d? For
instance to shut down anacron at suspend and starting it again at resume.
