I see a large difference.  v1 lets me do anything but sell or rent the
program or charge directly for its use.  v2 forbids any and all revenue
generating activity, direct or indirect.  I can install v1 on my client's
machines and use it to administer their systems and get paid for it.  I
can only use v2 for recreational or educational purposes.
