	Thanks for the responses.  I got mocka, which appears to be DFSG
free.  I only had to change where it looks for some libraries during
linking, and got the supplied executable to build its libraries, and it
compiled test code. Running the supplied 'hello world' produces a
segmentation fault. I compiled a more complicated test, and it seemed to
run OK.  There is some assembler code, but I don't know if it is
essential, so I don't know about other architectures.
	I suppose someday I may work on it some more.  I need to see if
the authors can help with the failed test, and if it can compile itself.
