please check new blitz license
Hi, the blitz people are proposing a new Artistic based license
[1], with this significant modification:
2. You may not charge a fee for distributing the Library
(or portions of it) in source code form without specific prior
written permission of the Copyright Holder.
This may conflict with this statement from the DFSG [2]
The license of a Debian component may not restrict any party from selling
or giving away the software as a component of an aggregate software
distribution containing programs from several different sources. The
license may not require a royalty or other fee for such sale.
However, I think that they are not in conflict. It is just that the blitz
license does not explicitly allow what is prohibited in the DFSG.
