What's better with a 2-colors windowing than the current 4-color cobnsole?
Even w95 uses just *one* window (much like a console) during
the install...

Apt will support console, X11 and http. I think that's enough.

Better error handling is fine but why change the archive format? Tar is
very stable and waiting 10s more isn't that bad.

Hey! We have dwww and dhelp, have you ever tried them? With that packages
(and a well-done doc-base) we can have the better of both worlds.
