kernel images that don't destroy each other, and register w/ lilo

I have a suggestion for kernel-image packages that don't like kill off each
other's modules... first, the version name should be incorporated as a dir
name (or part thereof) off /lib/modules/kernelversion or /lib/modules (in
which case the kernelversion would be off the version name dir).

Once this is so, there is a greater chance that all kernel-image packages
(or at least all those possessed by a particular individual) will be unique,
and the corresponding modules dir will be equally unique. The modutils should
be altered to get the root of that kernel's modules from the kernel.

Once the kernels and their modules can be uniquely identified in this way,
it then makes sense to allow kernels to automatically register with lilo as
another OS that can be booted; the image can be taken from the kernel image
version string.
