ESS ES1869 Plug and Play AudioDrive question
Does anyone know whether this card works under Linux? Or where to ask?
I tried several kernel module to no avail. And the alsa driver doesn't
install all to well either. I recompiled it for 2.1.108 but cannot modprobe
snd_ess*.o:
/lib/modules/2.1/misc/snd-es1688.o: invalid parameter snd_index
snd: Device or resource busy
Anyway, a hint where to check first is appreciated.
