I am getting tired of people ragging on RMS.  We would not BE here
were it not for his 15 years + of dedication to free software.  He is
willing to say, no, I won't compromise my principles, and because of
that, he is the one holding the free software line.  Were it not for
his "extreme", you could not label yourself as pertaining to the
'middle of the road'.

Enough.  Our line in the sand is drawn, be we extremists or not in
your eyes, we would like to get on with our work and stop this debate,
I am sure.
