Experiment: Cpu cycles to burn requested

I got problems with gcc 2.7.2.3-4 (and later) and glibc 2.0.7pre3-1.
Can someone with a big disk and cpu cycles to burn compile glibc 
2.0.7pre3-1 from slink with gcc 2.7.2.3-4 from hamm (or gcc 
2.7.2.3-4.2 from slink) and test it (WARNING: installing it as your 
system "default" libc might break your computer, use a chrooted 
environment).

If is doesn't work (crash in *sprintf*), try with gcc 2.7.2.3.

Please communicate the results back to me (w/backtrace in case of a 
crash).
