I thought Raster was in the process of rewriting it and was completely
changing the design..

[Personally, I think you should include the version number in the name
on all of Raster's pre-release stuff, and include a provides: along
the lines of enl-dr or fnlib-dr so that things can still depend on
development releases, should that turn out to be necessary.]
