Indeed, I have been thinking that too.

But even if not, how about the maintainers of the kernel packages
including slightly more useful descriptions in the dselect info.

'2.0.33 - includes the xxxx port fix, must-have update for most users'

or whatever is relevant!

Because the new user, browsing through the kernel packages, is hard
pressed to work out which version (if any) he should go for..
