Incorrect code generation I assume. If I recall correctly,
gcc sometimes makes some assumptions about the target environment
based on the host compilation environment, so some things get
generated incorrectly.

No, assuming that we can verify them to be 100% reliable. There is a gcc-m68k
package in binary-i386 anyway.
