What're you looking for? Currently, it's as stripped as possible since
it goes on the base disks. This includes no documentation (except for a
copyright file). If you want documentation on Perl (which perl-base is
a part of), install the perl package at
ftp://ftp.daft.com/pub/debian/perl_5.004.04-5_i386.deb. The ftp sites
are a little messed up right now, but they should fix themselves soon.
