Taking leave for study.
I need to take some time for serious study of computer programming,
and wish to lighten my package load some. I would appreciate if
someone would please take responsibility for the packages I have been
maintaining. I think I'll be a lot more help around here in a year
or so than I am now. :-)
In particular, I would like to see `cvsweb' go to someone willing to
put some work into it and improve upon it.
Here's the list of packages I would like to `give away free to good
homes'. Please take good care of them.
cvsweb <-- I've some things the new maintainer may like to have for it,
in particular, the CVS repository copy of it, if you'd
like. Perhaps this one ought to belong collectivly to
Gnome? It has the beginnings of a very useful tool for
that sort of thing.
gv <-- which I originally took because I need to read more.
procmail-lib <-- which I need to ditch because I read too much email.
rel
cgiwrap
browser-history <-- Some good potential here for Gnome, I think.
suidmanager <-- roll it into `COAS'? YTMAWBN.
I will continue to maintain `tmpreaper'.
When you decide to take one of these, be sure to let both myself and
the maintainer of the `work needed' list,
<URL:mailto:wnpp@debian.org>, know about the change of hands!
I am going to unsubscribe from all lists but debian-private to cut
down my load. This is no place for non-experts, methinks, and so
needs must I become one.
