smail memory leak?

Hi,

A few days ago I decided to give smail in daemon mode a go. I figured it
should improve responsiveness on the mail host. At first, there's an
advantage, but after a few hours (couple hunderd messages) top says smail
is using 12 MB of memory...

Has anybody else seen this?

	as Debian's default MTA
