Re: Possible new name for "deity"
I'm not happy with 'deity' either: it has certain theological
connotations, and I know that I'll get flamed for being a boring stayed
conservative, but I think that such usage is inappropriate, and that an
alternative name could be used: it doesn't particulaly offend me, but I
can see how some people could find it offensive...
