Take a close look at the message: vlock_1.0.orig.tar.gz is mentioned in the
_.dsc_ file. If you don't want to include it the upload, pass "-sd" (forces
exclusion of the original source and  includes only the diff) to
dpkg-buildpackage.

No. But if your .dsc file says it should be there, but it isn't, the
installer (rightfully) refuses to process it.
