install of perl failed from bo-unstable

Hi,

I have a bo system standing here and decided to
upgrade from the bo-unstable directory.
Perl failed here, after installing perl-base:

$ dpkg -i perl_5.004.04-2bo1.1.deb
(reading database . . . bla bla . . . )
error processing perl (- -install)
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 123
$

Anyone have a clue?
