Sort of...I'm keeping track of the situation (at least on the Alpha
side) through DEC employees' postings. So far, it looks like Compaq is
going to keep the existing Linux-oriented DEC people around and working
on their projects for at least six months (that's the "dust settling"
time estimate). After that, it's anyone's guess so far. I'm hoping
that they keep the openness of the Alpha community as open as it has
been, but time will tell. If there are any major developments on the
Alpha front, I'll be sure to post them here and on debian-alpha.
