Anybody working on the amanda-package?

Hello,

despite my (getting longer) bug list I attempting to build a package 
with the latest amanda backup suite (2.4.0beta6).  The last amanda
package was done by Christian Meder <meder@control.toronto.edu>, but
he didn't respond to my questions.

So I'll ask here:  is anybody working on an amanda package?
