calendar for 1998

I have a few questions about dates for this forthcoming year I hope
the list will be able to help with. I'm looking for the date that the
following events happen this year, or (better) how to calculate it.

Any other information gratefully accepted.

calendar.christian: Rogation Sunday??

calendar.holiday: Martin Luther King Day in New York is apparently the
3rd Sunday in January. Is this correct? My Dilbert calendar has
MLK Day as the 19th, ie the 3rd _Monday_.
calendar.holiday: 05/26* First Day of Shavuot??
calendar.holiday: 06/03* Bank Holiday in Rep. of Ireland (I seem to
  have no data on Ireland)
calendar.holiday: 10/28* Bank Holiday in Rep. of Ireland
calendar.holiday: 08/24* Summer Bank Holiday in UK (not Scotland)
(this might be the 31st August - which is it?)

calendar.judaic: 04/30* Yom HaAtzmaut (Israel Independence Day) - this
  date is almost certainly wrong.
calendar.judaic: 05/13* Lag Ba`omer (Commemoration of the Great Rebellion)??
calendar.judaic: 05/22* Yom Yerushalayim (Reunification of Jerusalem)??
calendar.judaic: 05/31* Shavuos (Festival of Weeks; 50 days after
Pesach; sabbatical) Should "Shavuos" be spelt "Shauvot"?
calendar.judaic: 07/10*	Fast of Shiv'a Asar B'Tammuz (Romans breach
  Wall of Jerusalem; fast day)
calendar.judaic: 07/31*	Fast of Tish'a B'Av (Babylon/Rome destroys
  Holy Temple; fast day)
calendar.judaic: 10/12* Shmini Atzeres/Simchas Torah (Rejoicing of the
  Law; sabbatical)
calendar.judaic: 12/14* First Day of Chanukah -- is this the same as
  "Hanukkah"
calendar.judaic: 12/27* Fast of Asara B'Tevet (Babylonians put siege
  on Jerusalem; fast day)
-- Basically, I have no information on the Judaic calendar.

calendar.usholiday: 09/13* Grandparent's Day (2nd Sunday of September;
varies from state to state). Does it really vary from state to state?
calendar.usholiday: 09/22* Autumnal Equinox -- is it on this date?

Thanks for any help!
Austin
