I've had only one problem with 2.0.32, but quite a bad one -- when
I insert a CD-R and try to mount it (silver CDs don't seem to trigger
this) I sometimes get errors. The logs say that the kernel had to do an
ATA reset. Afterwards, the iso modules has a usage count of something
over 500000, and no CD will mount until I reboot... This doesn't happen
every time, only intermittently.
This didn't happen with kernels < 2.0.32. I'd suggest 2.0.27/29 with
the f0 0f patch added (and maybe other security patches?).
