Hopefully there will be an effort to make some contrib RPMs now. I still think we could do a much better job of an entire port, since we are already set up much better for handling user-contributed packages. When I get some time to actually get dpkg going, we'll be able to use the patches from the source RPM packages. I'm really scrunched time-wise though -- doesn't anybody else want to lead the charge?
