This corpus makes me a little uncomfortable too.  But I'd bask in
comfort if just one letter was changed.  In the 3rd point there, I'd
prefer "We show how it could be done."  Otherwise, we're denying that
the same goals couldn't be reached other ways.

BTW, I'm quite happy with the DFSG and think the distribution of patches 
rather than modified source while irksome is a decent compromise.
