Re: The chronoilogicallly ordered bug pages
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
In summary: The following people think the bug system is ok and
should not be changed:
Scott Ellis <storm@gate.net>
Ian Jackson <ijackson@chiark.greenend.org.uk>
Martin Mitchell <gevans@mail.usyd.edu.au>
Federico Di Gregorio <fog@perosa.alpcom.it>
and the following people think that the right order should be
chronological one, and the bug system should be changed:
Adrian Bridgett <adrian.bridgett@zetnet.co.uk>
Manoj Srivastava <srivasta@datasync.com>
Richard Braakman <dark@xs4all.nl>
Juan Cespedes <cespedes@debian.org>
Santiago Vila <sanvila@unex.es>
Ben Armstrong <synrg@sanctuary.nslug.ns.ca>
James A.Treacy <treacy@debian.org>
Charles Briscoe-Smith <cpb4@ukc.ac.uk> (mailed me privately).
There are two possibilities to reach a consensus:
Either
a) the four persons above convince the other 8 that the current
order is right.
or
b) the eight persons above convince the other four that the current
order is wrong.
I would say both a) and b) are difficult.
[ Of course, I would say a) is much more difficult than b)... ]
Ian, do you still want us to reach a "consensus", is 4 / 8 enough, or
would you like me to exercise my procmail rules and make a bigger survey?
Thanks.
