Then I think there is no objection against this.

That's what the lists are for, unless you start asking really stupid
questions. :-)

I think a module should be appropriate. Take a look at the ntfs package
for hints. And, if this really is a great file system (I confess I haven't
read the whole web page, but I understand it has advantages compared to
ext2fs), you could try to get the code into the kernel distribution.
