Check out /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-linux/2.7.2.3/include. It's part of gcc, and
lives there. The preprocessor automatically looks there for header files.

If you do, you shouldn't. The only stddef.h that should exist on your system is
in the gcc include area.
