New maintainer processing?
I'm wondering whether there is some problem with the processing of new
maintainer applications. I sent in all the stuff mentioned in the policy
manual four weeks ago but haven't received as much as an acknowledgement,
let alone a real response. I don't mean to sound grumpy, but I don't
exactly find this encouraging.
Who do I ask to find out whether it has even been received? One possible
way to automate this might be to install an autoresponder that says
`your mail has arrived here and will be processed in due course, but
there are 327 messages in the queue in front of yours, so please don't
hold your breath'.
