I think this is a good idea, but I'd suggest using a different model
to build your sets - use. You could have Uses like:
C-Developer
X11-Developer
Apache-Host
...
The Uses would not be mutually exclusive. A user would check all the
things he'd might want to do, and those packages would get pulled in.
Don't worry about how to implement this. Try to get a reasonable list
of packages together.
Implementing this would most simply be a checkbox which provides input
to 'dpkg --set-selections'. The script would then call `dselect
-install' to do the work. This is pretty easy to add to the basedisk
scripts. This is something we could implement for hamm easily enough.
