Doug,

If you'd like to take the lead on this, please contact EFF and establish
if and when they will be putting up an alert about the bill. If they
are going to make a statement, I think we should wait for them to make
it, and then post something to Debian-announce asking all U.S. Debian
supporters to help fight for a better encryption policy.
