Just a comment, you will have to wait for libc6-based versions of libjpeg,
zlib and libpaper to rebuild gs/gs-aladdin for hamm.
As Joost is also looking for a new mantainer for libpaper, and that library
is mainly (only?) used by gs, why don't you take that too? :-)
