What a concept.
The Debian version is a perl script, and the GNU one is in C. I find
the perl script much more understandable, maintainable, and think that
it would be easier to hack on and improve than the C program.
Perhaps someone should just make the Debian `install-info'
commandline compatible with the GNU version?
If I knew enough C and had the time to do it... I'm learning it, but
am not up to taking this on.
