'T k' - kill the current thread.
'T l' - lower the score of the current thread.

GNUS threads by Subject and Reference.  Threads are multiple levels
and can be operated on.  Pine and Elm "thread" by sorting Subjects.
Threads are one level deep and can't be operated on.

GNUS is essential for keeping up with high-volume mailing lists and
newsgroups.  I highly recommend it.
