But he may have set the dependendancies wrong!
Happened with the dump package for m68k, where a new, incompatible
e2fs-library was released under the old name, and where the m68k maintainer
did not change the dependencies.
I, the i386 maintainer, uploaded an emergency update (for i386), as soon
as I realised the library change, but wasn't aware that the m68k-e2fs-library
was left at the old version.
(This is a good example: it shows that if the libraries don't match on the
different architectures, it is allright if the architecture maintainers get
the bugs)
