Just like plain cron also can. I forgot to write: the (an)cron jobs
cron.daily etc should be run at high nice (6 or so), so that they
won't be noticed.

I will have a problem here. The bios in my old old notebook is not apm
compatible... Otherwise, I think its easy to check if a laptop is
running with the battery or not.
