I uploaded by hand the source package for ckermit, even though this
should be functionally equivalent to the source package for kermit.

Note that there appears to be some difference in the original kermit
source file and the ckermit source file:
-rw-r--r--   1 sgk      1000      1213117 Mar  3 07:16 ckermit_192.orig.tar.gz
-rw-r--r--   1 sgk      1000      1213089 Jan 28 15:31 kermit_192.orig.tar.gz

However, when those two files are unpacked, there appears to be no
'diff' between the directory trees they create.

So I presume the apparent difference is due to changes in my system
(libc5?  gzip itself?) since Jan 28.
