If I were to suspect anything, it would be the reverse DNS mapping at
Novare.net (they don't seem to be DNS pros, not that DNS is easy). However
I don't see how that would result in an inquiry for lists.debian.org.org .
I think the problem is that some DNS _clients_ know their domain name is
foo.org and attempt to complete partial domain names when they do searches.
When they do any search they search for lists.debian.org.foo.org and
lists.debian.org.org , and then finally lists.debian.org .
